Mr. Phorn Phanoeun was born in 1994 in Ang Snuol District, Kandal Province. He’s been enabling himself to write since 2001 with many senior writers, most of whom participated in the Nou Hach Literary Association Workshop. However, before he got training from senior writers, Mr. Phon Phanoeun had studied fiction and poetry since he served himself as a Buddhist monk.
He is recognized as an outstanding writer after winning the literary competition of the Buddhist Academy Award in two categories, including the poem “Incents’ smoke” and a short story of “Fear” Not only that, Mr Phanoeun also won 3rd place from the 7th Khmer Literature Festival for the poem of “Bicycle Pedal”. and in 2023 he receive 5th plave award from Intra Devi Literature Competition by MFA on short novel category for his title of The tide of destiny.
Currently, He has the opportunity to join the publishing house of MJQ University Press on the role of "Writer" focusing on writing and compiling books.
